Park Place Projects – Multiple and Various Corporate, Non-Profit and Private Events 1995 - present
Producer, Production Manager, Stage Manager: I have been involved in the management of countless events in NYC and beyond. Some clients include: AT&T, Adidas, Microsoft, Deloitte, The Hirschorn Museum, LA Dance Project, Friar’s Club Roasts of Quentin Tarantino, Jack Black, Robert De Niro and others. As well I’ve been involved in many events covered by NDAs.
Robert Wilson: Paradiso: The 17th Annual Watermill Summer Benefit 2010
Producer: A daylong event involving dozens of artists, across many acres and with hundreds of guests.
Robert Whitman: Passport: dual location simultaneous performance 2011
Producer : I produced the Dia portion of this event on a peninsula in the Hudson River.
We Give Ourselves Away at Every Moment: An Event for Merce – The River to River Festival 2010
Producer: I conceived and produced this event, in collaboration with Annie-B Parson, on the first anniversary of the passing of Merce Cunningham.
In the Studio: New York event for NFAA gold and silver winners 2008-2011
General Manager: I managed all elements for this annual program at Baryshnikov Arts Center for highly gifted artists of various disciplines to visit New York, study with mentors and mount a small showcase of their talents.
Theater:
This is Reading: 2017
Production Manager: I supervised a site specific theatrical performance in the train station in Reading PA. The piece was conceived, written by and produced by playwright Lynn Nottage. It was a large scale production with projection, lighting and performance elements inside and all around this recently restored train station.
Antigone: 2015
US Tour Production Manager: I supervised the US tour of this show produced by The Barbican Theater directed by Ivo Van Hove and starring Juliette Binoche. The US premiere was at B.A.M. We subsequently toured to Carolina Preforming Arts in Chapel Hill, University Music Society in Ann Arbor and The Kennedy Center.
Einstein on the Beach: An Opera in 4 Acts by Robert Wilson and Philip Glass 2008-2012
Production Manager: I supervised the technical elements of this revival by the original artists from early planning through construction, tech, opening and touring to France and Italy.
Man in a Case: Big Dance Theater, produced by Baryshnikov Arts Center 2011-2012
Production Manager: This piece was originally produced by Hartford Stage Company. I worked with Hartford Stage to adapt the piece to tour. I hired touring staff and supervised the first touring stop at The Shakespeare Company in Washington D.C. The touring is continuing on to Berkeley, Boston, Santa Monica and Chicago.
An Iliad: 2011-2012
Production Manager: This piece was originally produced by New York Theater Workshop. I worked with the Director and Design team to adapt for touring.
In Paris: produced by Baryshnikov Arts Center 2011-2012
Production Manager: I supervised technical aspects of the creation of this piece directed by Dmitry Krymov and starring Mikhail Baryshnikov. It was created in Helsinki, Finland and subsequently toured to Holland, France, Israel, The States and Italy.
Terminus: produced by The Abbey Theater
Lighting Director and US production coordinator: I collaborated with the Abbey to adapt this piece and bring this production to 7 Cities in The States.
Big Dance Theater – Shunkin, Antigone, The Other Here, Toujours Here I Stand 2001-2010
Production Manager: I developed several pieces with Big Dance from early gestation through premiere and touring.
Martha Clarke – Garden of Earthly Delights 2007
Production Manager: I supervised the revival of this piece at American Dance Festival at Duke University.
Robert Wilson – Jo Kondo 2007
Production Stage Manager. A new creation by Robert Wilson commissioned by Works & Process at the Guggenheim Museum.
Mikel Rouse – End of Cinematics and the Opera Vérité Trilogy 2006-2008
Production Manager. I managed the remounting of End of Cinematics and touring to 4 US cities, Canada and England including presentation of the entire trilogy simultaneously at the Luminato Festival in Toronto.
Richard Foreman – Pearls for Pigs 1996 -1998
Light Director. I picked the show up from Designer Heather Carson, then toured to several cities in The States as well as France and Italy.
Eric Bogosian - Pounding Nails in the Floor with my Foreheads, Wake up and Smell the Coffee 1994-1996
Production Stage Manager and Light Designer: I organized all elements of several tours in the The States including; light design, installation of lighting and scenic elements and stage management.
Meredith Monk Vocal Ensemble - Concert Tours, The Politics of Quiet 1994-1996
I was production manager/lighting Director for concert tours to Austria, The Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Slovenia, and Switzerland. I production managed the creation of The Politics of Quiet which was presented at BAM and in Denmark.
Dance
Twyla Tharp – Joyce Season 2017
Production Stage Manager. I production managed and stage managed Twyla’s run at The Joyce Theater in NYC. The evening included revivals of earlier works and two premieres. The engagement included a week of tech and three week run.
I also production stage managed and designed lights for the creation of a new piece called Minimalism and Me. This evening length piece was created and premiered at MCA/Chicago.
L.A. Dance Project 2012-2017
Production Manager. I supervised the creation of several pieces with artistic director Benjamin Millepied as well as two pieces with Justin Peck and piece each with Emanuel Gat, Roy Assaf, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, and Hiroaki Umeda. The company remounted work by Merce Cunningham, William Forsythe, Martha Graham. I supervised touring around The States and extensive touring in France as well as to Italy, Switzerland, Holland, England, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, The P.R.C. and Korea.
Jessica Lang Dance – The Wanderer 2015
Production Stage Manager. I helped create the touring set-up for this piece that had its premiere at B.A.M. I built new set elements, took the piece to Jacob's Pillow and called the piece.
Mikhail Baryshnikov – Solos with Piano, Hell’s Kitchen Dance, Three Duets, Three Solos & a Duet 2003-2011
Light Director &/or Production Stage Manager. I have managed several tours for Misha to many US cities as well as: Finland, France, Holland, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Serbia, Spain, Sweden, Brazil, Argentina and Peru.
Eliot Feld – Repertory Season at The Joyce 2008
Production Stage Manage: I supervised the creation and presentation of 3 pieces for this season at The Joyce including two premieres.
John Jasperse – Misuse Liable to Prosecution 2007
Technical Director. I supervised installation of scenic elements including a full stage sculpture made of hangers at BAM.
Sarah Mitchelson – Dogs 2006
Production Stage Manager. I supervised installation of scenic elements and stage managed the premiere of this piece at BAM.
Merce Cunningham Dance Company 1999-2005
Staff Production Manager. I collaborated in the creation of 6 Merce premieres and supervised touring to Australia, Austria, Canada, England, France, Germany, Holland, Hong Kong, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Korea, Lebanon, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland as well as throughout the States. New York seasons were presented at BAM, The Joyce Theater, City Center and The State Theater.
Michael Mao Dance – The Firecracker 2002Light Director and Stage Manager. I adapted an American light design for touring the People’s Republic of China sourcing local lighting rental and labor. We teched the show in Beijing then toured to Nanjing, Suzhou, Shanghai and Guangzhou.
Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival 1995-1999
House Production Manager: Supervised stage and front of house for a summer dance festival including: training intern crews, advancing shows, installation of scenic, light and sound element and running front of house. We presented ten major dance companies each summer.
Elizabeth Streb/Ringside - Popaction 1996-1998
Light Director and Production Stage Manager: I advanced tours, managed transportation and installation of scenic elements on tour throughout the United States. I also light directed for designer Heather Carson.
Sankai Juku – Yuragi 1996
Light Director: I traveled to Japan to meet the company, see and learn the show. I then advanced the lighting for a 15 city North American tour. On tour I worked closely with the company’s light director to execute the design.
Susan Marshall & Company 1994-1995
Production Stage Manager and Light Director: Organized all technical elements of several tours throughout the United States. Responsibilities included: transportation of cargo, light direction, installation of lighting, scenic, video, sound elements and stage management.

Founding Member, Production Stage Manager and Light Designer: I collaborated in the creation process, designed and constructed various props scenic elements and lighting for over a dozen dances. I production stage managed many tours. We presented New York seasons at The Cunningham Studio, LaMama, Danspace and The Joyce.

Arts Administration: I have extensive experience in the ongoing management of performing arts organizations both on the creative and presenting sides.
Stagecraft: I am an experienced stage carpenter, electrician and stagehand with some experience in video projection.
Technology: Computer construction and maintenance, Mac, PC, Linux, Office, HTML, CGI, Final Cut, Vectorworks, QLab, Quickbooks.
China: I have extensive experience working in the People's Republic of China and with shows that originate there. I can be very helpful at anticipating and mitigating the many challenges that arise when collaborating with the Chinese.
Language: Advanced conversational and stage French. Functional Italian & Spanish. Beginning Russian & Mandarin.
